We want you to have an enjoyable pregnancy and positive childbirth experience. Our goal as physicians is to provide support and counseling, intervening only when necessary for the health of you and your baby.

 

We feel that it is important for your first visit to be within the first two months of pregnancy. At this visit, you will meet your nurse and physician. A complete health history will be taken, and prenatal education will begin. A physical exam, ultrasound and laboratory testing may be performed.

Medical or High-Risk Conditions in Pregnancy

 

In the event that a medical or high-risk condition arises, we have the ability to treat most conditions. You will not need to be referred out to another physician in most cases.

We provide care for:

 

• History of recurrent miscarriage

• History of preterm birth

• History of cesarean section (trial of labor after cesarean)

• Twins

• Gestational diabetes

• Gestational hypertension or preeclampsia

• Thyroid disorders in pregnancy

• Preterm labor

• Placenta previa

• Post-partum depression
