Christine Pagel is a board-certified Pediatrician who has always loved working with children. From babysitting and coaching when she was younger, to choosing Pediatrics as a field of study in Medical School, she knew children and families would always be at the core of her daily life. “I find so much joy in spending time with children and families. I do my best to reflect that joy back to the children and their caregivers along their journey of growing up.”

 

Dr Pagel grew up in the Milwaukee area and moved to Madison to attend the University of Wisconsin. She continued her studies there, attending the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health and completing her Pediatrics residency at UW in 2008.  After many years practicing Pediatric Medicine locally, she is excited to join Associated Physicians to provide the patient-focused quality connection with patients and families that private practice fosters. 

 

Developing relationships with children and families is one of the best parts of being a pediatrician.  “Sharing the enjoyment and navigating the challenges of each developmental stage with parents and families is a highlight of my role as a Pediatrician.” Dr Pagel provides care for pediatric patients through routine wellness visits, sick visits, as well as management of chronic medical conditions and other health concerns. She has a specific interest in the area of child development, and enjoys seeing newborns through college-aged patients.

 

“I understand how difficult it is to be a working parent and balance all the moving pieces and worries we have about our children. As a pediatrician, I strive to guide families on strategies they can pursue to keep their children healthy, as well as to be a helpful resource when kids are not feeling their best.”

 

In her free time, Dr Pagel enjoys spending time with her family.  As a parent of active boys, she brings that personal parenting experience to her Pediatric practice.
