Kayla Moses
PA
Kayla Moses is a certified physician assistant (PA). She graduated from the University of Wisconsin Madison’s Physician Assistant program in 2017. Prior to becoming a PA Kayla received an undergraduate and graduate degree in Kinesiology from UW Madison. While working towards her master’s degree she conducted and published two research studies on intracardiac shunts.
Prior to coming to Associated Physicians, Kayla worked as a PA in both Family Medicine and in the Emergency Department. In addition, she has volunteered for the past eight years at the Good Neighbor clinic, a non-profit organization providing primary care to individuals with no medical insurance. As a lover of problem solving, critical thinking, and many different specialties in medicine, Kayla enjoys managing a wide variety of medical conditions in patients of all different ages, backgrounds, and walks of life.
Kayla strives for her patients to view her as their advocate. It is important that her patients feel heard, safe and understood. She finds it very meaningful to develop a working relationship with patients and to have the privilege to care for them on a long-term basis. She was introduced to Associated Physicians over a decade ago when she first established care as a patient at the clinic herself. The exceptional care she has received drew her to want to work at the clinic, as it is obvious Associated Physicians truly cares for their patients.
Outside of work Kayla’s greatest joy is spending time with her family. She lives with her husband, son, two cats and one dog. She would describe a perfect day as being with loved ones outdoors, preferably in the mountains or on the water but even a walk locally will fill her cup.
