• Community Involvement

The doctors and staff at Associated Physicians love being part of Dane County's vibrant community. They serve on medical boards and civic committees. They support worthy causes. And they share their talents and enthusiasm by participating in a variety of local events, including the Komen Run and American Red Cross blood drives.

Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure

In honor of patients, employees, family members and friends who are breast cancer survivors, many of the doctors, nurses and staff of Associated Physicians participate as a team in the annual Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. We’re proud to add our support to the annual event, which raises needed funds for breast cancer research.

We’ve done this for a few years, and every year more team members join us. As you can see from the photo above, we had a great turnout for our 2010 team!

American Red Cross Blood Drive

As health care providers, we know that blood saves lives. That’s why we’ve held blood drives at Associated Physicians since 2005. Twice a year, we host the American Red Cross Bloodmobile here so that our doctors, nurses and staff can donate blood. These drives, in turn, help local hospitals maintain their blood banks.

So far, Associated Physicians' employees have donated hundreds of units of blood, potentially saving more than 700 lives!
