Thank you for the opportunity to be your partner in health care. At Associated Physicians we strive to care for our patients in a friendly and efficient manner.
Please schedule your next appointment before leaving the clinic. This will help us serve you in a timely and efficient manner. If you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance so that we may use your appointment time to accommodate other patients. If you are late for an appointment, we may ask you to reschedule.
If you have a change of insurance, address, or other information, please notify us as soon as possible so that your claims are processed correctly. If you wish to update your demographic or insurance information at the time of an appointment, please arrive 15 minutes early in order to re-register. Our staff is available to take your telephone calls throughout the day. If you have a health care concern between scheduled appointments, please call us before 4:00 p.m. on weekdays. Every effort will be made to address your concerns by the end of that day. If you call after 4:00 p.m., your concerns will be addressed no later than the following business day. Your privacy is of the utmost importance to us; therefore we prefer not to leave personal messages on your voice mail, but will instead ask you to call us back.
We are open for same day visits for pediatric and internal medicine patients by appointment only on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. If you need a prescription refilled, please call us before 12:00 p.m.
In the event of a medical emergency, please dial 9-1-1. If you have an urgent question or concern, please call the main clinic telephone number and our answering service will take your call. They will then contact our physician on-call and s/he will call you back.
Our internists, obstetricians, and surgeons admit to and visit patients at Meriter Hospital. Our pediatricians admit to and visit patients at American Family Children’s Hospital, and visit newborns at Meriter Hospital.
Before you run out of a prescription medication, please call your pharmacy and request a refill. They will contact our office for you. Or, you may notify us that you need a refill at your visit.
Our lab is open from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Each physician has a preferred method of communicating lab results; please ask your physician how s/he will contact you when you are in for your visit. If you do not receive information regarding your test results within two weeks, please contact your physician or nurse.
